Snakes Downunder

 

Snakes Downunder is a boutique wildlife park offering snake shows and saltwater crocodile feeding. They have over 45 different Reptiles on display including  lizards, monitors, turtles and frogs.  

 

 

Mammino Macadamia's and Ice Cream

 

Be sure to try Mammino's  multi award-winning 100% homemade ice-cream and delicious macadamia nut products. 

 

 

Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door

 

Just a skip  out of Childers township is Hill of Promise Winery and Cellar Door, offering tastings and sales of preservative-free award -winning wines and fortifieds. Good coffee also available.

 

 

Flying High Bird Sanctuary

 

Flying High Bird Sanctuary is the largest free flight aviary in Australia. Walk with the birds in the free flight aviary. Covering an area of 5,000 square metres and reaching a height of seven metres, the many varieties of Australian parrots and finches fly free in a natural habitat created especially for them.

 

 

Vintner's Secret Winery

 

Vintner's secret is a boutique winery offering award winning wines.  Enjoy coffee and cake at Whispers Cafe or order a picnic hamper full of delicious treats.

 

 

Cordalba Mountain Bike Trails

 

The promisedland Mountain Bike Trails located within the Cordalba State Forest are a short drive from Lake Redbrook.  With Beginner and Intermediate tracks, there's something to challenge everyone.

 

 

Woodgate Beach

 

Approximately 25 minutes from Lake Redbrook is Woodgate beach offering a stunning curve of white sand over 16 kilometres long. The calm ocean waters are protected from strong swells by Fraser Island.
